o Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Sciences from the University of California, Irvine
o Medical Degree from La Salle University in Mexico City, where Dr. Ovalle lived many years
o Residency in Family Medicine at St. Elizabeth’s Family Medicine Residency Program in Chicago, Illinois
o Faculty Development Fellowship at John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County in Chicago, Illinois
o Extensive HIV and STD care experience through the CORE center in Chicago
o TNT PCP Psychiatry Fellowship through University of California, Irvine
